Often our seniors and their loved ones feel overwhelming sadness and isolation due to health problems and care-giving responsibilities.
Friendly visits are essential in reminding our patients they are not alone and never forgotten. Your gift of time and presence is a gift to our patients and their loved ones,
Whether it is journaling, porch sitting, sharing a cup of coffee or a meal, catching up on family news & current events, enjoying music, or simply a loving and listening presence, you can make a difference in the hearts of all.
Many volunteer visits can be filled with the art of simply listening, learning, and capturing the patient's life-story as a legacy gift to their loved ones. It is a treasure and a meaningful experience for our volunteers and our patients, their loved ones, and family caregivers.
Training and one to one assistance is provided throughout your volunteer experience.
We match patients & families with greatest need to hometown volunteers who live and work conveniently in same area.
Bring your interests & hobbies and we will provide art, music, reading, or journaling tools of your choice. Whatever you need!
