The Sacred Heart Center is a non-profit community center serving the Hispanic community. Our mission is to create a hub for Richmond’s Latino community that opens opportunities for economic and social integration, family success, and community leadership.

We are looking for mentors for the College & Career Bound program. Local Hispanic high school students have bi-monthly meetings at Sacred Heart Center where they are prepared for college with SAT prep, advice FAFSA, financial literacy and different career paths. Mentors meet with students once a month to help guide these students with the college application process and career-readiness. We would like a mix of mentors that are young professionals and current college students. Mentors will need to obtain a Virtus certificate to work with children & go through mentor training. It would be helpful to be able to speak Spanish.
