Responsibilities

• Ensure the fundraising events within budget, meets financial objectives, and appropriately represent the Human Health Project to the donor community
• Manage the event sponsorship project and the live and silent auction projects (as relevant)
• Plan fundraising event in coordination with management, vendors and volunteers
• Responsible for event logistics including venue, communication, vendor, staff and volunteer matters.
• Cultivates, solicits, and stewards prospects, donors and volunteers
• Recruit, train, supervise and mentor event volunteers
• Participates in special projects and events as assigned

Job Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in non-profit event planning and fundraising
• Previous fundraising experience with benefit concerts or other fundraising events is highly desirable
• An ability to lead and motivate volunteers, and maintain positive client relations
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attendance and be must be accountable for quality of work
• Proficient with Gmail, Google Docs, Dropbox, and MS Word, Excel, & Powerpoint
