LA Family Housing serves over 6,000 clients, and moves 800 households into stable housing, annually. Everyone needs shampoo, body wash, tooth paste, and lotion -- items we often don't give a second thought about.
Serve those in need by assembling donations with your family and friends, or host a drive with your school, faith community, neighbors or coworkers. Invite them for a tour of LA Family Housing when you drop off the donations so they can learn more about how how they helped! Contact us for a current wish list of donated items.

Mission Statement
L.A. Family Housing (LAFH) works to help families transition out of homelessness and poverty through a continuum of housing enriched with supportive services. Founded in 1983, LAFH served more than 2,500 people living in poverty this past year through its multiple housing and supportive service programs, and has served over 100,000 people since its inception. In total LAFH owns and operates 21 properties, including three homeless shelters and 18 permanent rental properties. LAFH provides temporary housing, including the Sydney Irmas Transitional Living Center, for families who require additional time for achieving sufficient independence to secure permanent housing. These transitional living programs offer: * Six Months to Two Years of Transitional Housing * Food Services * Case Management * Mandatory Savings Program * Full Range of On-Site Supportive Services
