Luminario Ballet: Ballet Masquerade Macabre Gala Fundraiser!
Sunday October 16th 2022 from 5:30-9:30 PM, at the glamorous Avalon Hollywood
Covid requirements per venue Avalon Hollywood: all entering the venue (guests and staff) must be fully vaccinated. No exemptions.
SEEKING:
Special Event volunteers For Luminario Ballet's Masquerade Macabre Ballet Gala Fundraiser and Show
Saturday October 15:
12-4 PM Print Silent Auction bid sheets, guest check in sheets, coordinate check in sheets with table numbers, check/coordinate Squarepay and cell phones
Sunday October 16:
** Load In 2:00 PM
**Set up of Silent Auction tables and items, decorations
**Set up check-in tables, for both fundraiser donor guests and general audience
**Greeting guests at Step and Repeat video screen, helping take "selfies" for them (and us- post to our social media!)
** 5:30 PM Guest check in
** 6:45 PM Take Silent Auction item payment (we use Square pay)
** 7:45 Live Fund-A Need Auction donations w/ Square pay
** 8:00 PM General Audience check in
** 8:15 Show
**9:30 PM take down and load out

Mission Statement
Luminario Ballet presents national/international professional contemporary ballet en pointe and cutting edge Cirque du Soleil style aerial dance to general audiences. Luminario Ballet tours, and presents an annual repertory Season in Los Angeles. Choreographers range from well known such as Michael Smuin and Bella Lewitzky to emerging talents such as Josie Walsh, Jamal Story, and award winning director Judith FLEX Helle. Luminario Ballet represents the vibrant, exceptional, talented and diverse LA population. Luminario Ballet has toured India via a grant from the US Department of State, and in the US: NY, TX, FLA.
Description
Luminario Ballet is a woman-led, boutique, non profit Los Angeles dance company ranging from 8- 12 dancers and a small core of staff.
Luminario Ballet has a rotating choreorgapher roster, selected carefully each year by artistic director Judith FLEX Helle.
