Martin Volunteers is a program of United Way that recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies in Martin County.

The mission of the organization where this opportunity is located is to inspire environmental stewardship of Florida's coastal ecosystem through education and research.

Exhibit guides needed to interpret exhibits and relay information to the public about regional aquariums and touch tank inhabitants. Volunteers will stress the importance of maintaining the fragile habitat and the conservation issues that surround various species. This opportunity is on Hutchinson Island in Stuart.

Must love working with children and adults. Good customer service skills are required and public speaking experience is helpful.

Hours:
M- F 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sat. 9:45 a.m. 1:15PM or - 1:00 -4:00 p.m.
Sun. 11:45 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Must commit to a minimum of 4 months.
