Martin Volunteers is a program of United Way that recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies in Martin County.
The mission of the organization where this opportunity is located is to inspire environmental stewardship of Florida's coastal ecosystem through education, research and advocacy.
Program presenters are needed to conduct morning or afternoon programs. Duties include interpreting exhibits and relaying information to the public about the touch tank inhabitants and assist at the stingray feeding presentation.
Must love working with children and adults. Good customer service skills are required and public speaking experience is helpful.
Hours:
9:00 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Saturday
11:45 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Sunday
Must commit to a 4 hour shift once a week for 3-4 months.
