Urban Development Corporation (UDC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of low-to-moderate income families living in urban communities.

UDC is attempting to bringing stabilzaton, revitalization and sustainability to a 9-block inner-city Detroit Neighborhood of which a substantial number of houses are owned by the Detroit Land Bank and have been abandoned. Residents are in desparate need of a helping hand to clean-up and beautify their community.

We seek to connect with volunteers willing to help with the removal of debris, board-ups, cutting of grass and trimming of bushes, raking of leaves and with the rehabb of a couple of housed. Detroit is having some usual seasonally warm winter weather if you can stomach cold weather consider coming out for a few hours to led a helping hand.

UDC welcomes help from individuals, churches, corporations, high school students and civic groups (for example: fraternities and sororities) willing to help if not the date specific you can select a day of your choice.
