The Boys & Girls Club of Vista needs a flexible, creative, team-oriented person to assist with our May gala, September carnival and misc. program events throughout the year. Working under the leadership of the Executive Director and Director of Development, we seek assistance with marketing/PR, sponsor solicitation/ticket sales, event/program design, auction procurement, and vendors. Looking for someone that loves the Boys & Girls Clubs mission and can commit for at least a year. Volunteer hours are flexible and include working at the Club, home or about the community. We are looking for someone 1 day a week.

Description
Established in 1963, BGCV meets the needs of youth ages 5-18 regularly at five program sites serving youth residing primarily in Vista and Oceanside, California. BGCV is open "when kids need us most" - after school, on most school holidays and during the summer. BGCV offers safe places just for kids where they can learn, grow, and succeed.
Club programs help Club members build healthy habits for life and how to be resilient leaders through mentorship, accountability while developing a growth mindset.
Club programs include:
- Education: Career Launch, STEM, music and homework assistance and literacy practice
- Health and Wellness: health, fitness, prevention/education and self-esteem enhancement and a Children’s Food Garden
- Leadership and Service: leadership development opportunities for youth.
- Sports and Recreation: comprehensive sports and recreational fitness programs.
