This position will help support Ronald McDonald House Charities, Upper Midwest’s volunteer staff of over 5,000 individuals by working with staff to help complete administrative projects. Examples of work may include data entry, filing, completing mailings, phone calls and working in Raiser’s Edge database.
Major Job Accountabilities
Key Responsibilities
- Raiser’s Edge data entry for volunteers
- Answering phone calls/making phone calls to prospective volunteers
- Thank you cards for volunteers
- Collecting and analyzing data from volunteers, helping send surveys or evaluations to volunteers
- Other tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Proficiency in full Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn databases (Raiser’s Edge)
- Organizational skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs as they arise.

We, in partnership with our community, provide a comfortable and caring home-away-from-home that supports keeping families together and reduces stress during a child’s serious illness.
Description
We provide a warm and welcoming community of support and respite for families with seriously-ill or injured children. Across our five locations, we welcome 76 families each night for overnight services, as well as hundreds of day-visitors. Services include:
- Lodging
- Meals
- Kitchen access and fully-stocked pantries
- Laundry facilities
- An accredited K-12 school
- Workout facilities
- Supportive, family-focused programming
We take care of all these things so families can focus on the well-being of their child.
