Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Pathfinders

  • 88 people are interested

Pathfinders’ Drop-In Center provides basic needs assistance and intensive case management to homeless and vulnerable youth and young adults ages 14-25. The Center provides access to food, bus tickets, hygiene products, clothing, laundry, and shower facilities, as well as programs focusing on employment, education, independent living skills, and social support services.

Program Assistants at the Drop-In Center build relationships that provide assistance and encouragement to the youth and young adults and supervise and support clients as they work to achieve their goals. PAs participate in client orientations and programs and help clients navigate online job applications and job websites. They also assist staff with day-to-day center management including providing clients access to the kitchen, shower, laundry and computers and distribute hygiene supplies when needed.

To learn more about becoming a Program Assistant, contact our Volunteer and Community Engagement Manager, Madison Fisler at community@pathfindersmke.org.
