ORGANIZATION: Yolo Hospice/YoloCares/Citizens Who Care

This is a volunteer opportunity where you can really make a difference in a patient's life. Hospice Patient Care Volunteers are an important part of the Yolo Hospice team. Volunteers are trained to give patients in their final months companionship, to read, play music for them, take part in life review, provide caregiver relief and do light housework. Patient care Volunteering takes place in Yolo, Solano, Sacramento, Sutter and Colusa counties in facilities and homes. We offer online and in-person training. To sign up for training, go to www.sachospice.org or see the Volunteer Coordinator for online training.
