Reading Matters

SMART is looking for dedicated volunteers to help us run our reading programs in schools, head starts and day care centers. We provide adult volunteers to read with PreK through 3rd Grade children during the school year and give each child 1-2 books per month to take home. Coordinators help us run the program by scheduling students with volunteers, keeping track of books, and overseeing the day to day operations of the program. We need a Site Coordinator at Richmond Head Start in order to open our program.
