As a mentor you will be serving as a positive role model, advocate, coach and friend to your student. You are there to help them understand and appreciate the importance of education, while also being their confidant. Our mentors meet with their scholars once a week at their school, typically during their lunch hour. In this time you have an opportunity to help your scholar meet their goal of a college education, while helping them achieve their short term goals.
We are currently seeking new mentors for our newest class of Take Stock in Children. If you are interested please reach out to our office and we would love to give you more information on how you can get involved.
