Porter Adventist Hospital Surgical Waiting Room Courtesy Desk. Be part of a 2 person team, greeting and assisting guests while they are waiting for their loved one to complete surgery requires skills of reassurance and empathy. This is one of our primary customer service assignments and it has a major impact on the patient's and their family's experience while at Porter Hospital

If you enjoy meeting many folks and helping to alleviate anxiety, this is a good fit for you.

You will also be assisting surgeons and nurses to locate families who are waiting for news as well as sharing information that will be shared by telephone.

Organization of paperwork and observational skills are also needed.
