The Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History is currently recruiting volunteers for our summer Mobile Museum program. This is a fun summer program for people who love natural history, meeting new people, and learning more about our local ecosystems. Volunteers will work in teams of 2-3 docents at pop-up interactive exhibits overlooking Seabright Beach and farmers markets. These teams will engage passerby and encourage them to interact with our specimen and artifacts on display, while introducing them the upcoming programs at the Museum. Applicants must be ages 14+ and should have experience with public speaking and enjoy interacting with people of all ages and backgrounds. Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply.
This program takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM from June 19th through August 31st.
