Polk County's Rohr Home residents LOVE their bingo days and need volunteers to help. Bingo is very beneficial to senior adults' health as it involves the players being with other people and needing to keep alert monitoring numbers being called out.

Nestled among the azaleas and moss-laden oak trees of Bartow is the Rohr Home; a licensed, 60-bed skilled nursing home facility that specializes in long-term and sub-acute care. A 5-star rated facility, the Rohr Home offers both short and long term care and is consistently ranked by Medicare.gov as one of the top Nursing Homes in Florida.

Main Assignment Responsibilities

• Distributing cards to players
• Calling out the numbers articulately and loud
• Walking around to ensure residents mark any missed numbers
• Collecting number markers and cards
• Passing out prizes

Time/Availability

• The Rohr Home is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm
• This assignment is specifically seeking availability on Mondays, Thursdays, or Saturdays from 2pm to 3pm
• Scheduling will be discussed at the time of the interview

Physical Abilities/Speech

• Must be able to speak articulately and loud

Attire/PPE

• All attire should be clean, without wrinkles or holes, and should not display profanity, obscene images, or present any inappropriate subject. Clothing should be appropriate to the assignment.
