Graphic and Web Designer Job Purpose :Responsible for conceptual development through final design execution of marketing collateral, web graphics, video production and info graphics.

Responsibilities:


- Operates effectively as a member of Marketing team

- Taking part in the preliminary planning of the Web site, meeting and discussing ideas related to the layout and organization of the site, color types or images to be used

- Designing Web sites and ensuring that they are easy to access and visually effective

- Translating a client's informational or marketing content into a functional website

- Developing templates of approved website layout.

- Creating interactive design concepts by clarifying goals; designing functionality.

- Use computer software, computer design techniques, and computer-generated media to design new images.

- Work closely with Marketing Director on layout and design media.

- Maintains site appearance by developing and enforcing content and display standards; editing submissions.

- Use computer design systems and artistic techniques to create animation.

- Review graphic materials and present the information in an eye-catching yet organized manner

- Produce media products that make a substantial contribution to accomplishing course objectives.

- Produce consistent visual images across our websites


Commitment Required :

Meetings : 2 in person and 2 conference calls

(-Attend the respective team meetings - 2 in-person and 2 conference calls

- All marketing coordinators from various teams will also meet twice in a month - once in person and once over conference call)

Time : Minimum 5 hours [ excluding meeting time ]

Experience : 5 years of prior experience in Web designing and preferably a Media based diploma or Degree


Requirements (Specific)

Skills/Abilities :

· Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

· Good project management skills

· Effectively communicate and make best use of interpersonal skills

· Work collaboratively and efficaciously as a team member.
