ORGANIZATION: Museum of Indian Culture

36th annual Roasting Ears of Corn Festival
Pennsylvania's oldest Native American dance, music, food, and art festival

The Museum of Indian Culture hosts a large Native American festival annually. This year's 44th annual Roasting Ears of Corn Festival will be held on August 17-18, 2024. This is an all volunteer organization that needs extra hands. We provide food for our volunteers and free time to enjoy the activities! All activities held outdoors - Native American singing, dancing, demonstrations, storytelling, crafts, food, children's activity area and more. We need help prior to the festival on August 3rd and 4th to set up canopies, tables, and the food stand. During the festival we need help preparing and serving food, parking, helping children create Native American themed crafts at our children's activity area, etc. We especially need volunteers with food service experience to help out in our food stand. All help is greatly appreciated.
