Thank you for your interest in helping Meals on Wheels San Diego County! We are in need of volunteers now more than ever. We couldn’t serve our seniors without our dedicated team of volunteers. We are taking COVID-19 safety measures to protect volunteers and clients, such as contactless meal delivery. Individuals and all family members living in the same household are welcome to volunteer together.
Volunteers are the heartbeat of our organization. We look forward to you joining us on our mission to support the independence and well-being of seniors.

Meals on Wheels San Diego County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that delivers nutritious meals and moments of human connection to homebound seniors in San Diego County. Our mission is to support the independence and well-being of seniors.
Meals on Wheels San Diego County is dedicated to helping seniors remain independent and in their own homes as long as possible. We do this by delivering meals to seniors in need of nutritional support. Home-delivered meals are vital to the overall well-being of seniors who are unable to adequately meet their own nutritional needs. For seniors, well-being means not only maintaining physical health through good nutrition, but also nourishing emotional and spiritual health through contact with kind and caring volunteers and the ability to stay in their homes. Seniors want to age in place and that place is their home. Meals-on-Wheels is committed to helping them do that. We are concerned with the maintaining the well-being and dignity of every senior we serve.
