Holistic Offerings & Opportunity for People Foundation, Inc. (H.O.O.P) would like to invite you to participate in planning the 8 th Annual Los Angeles Million Father March. This fundraising event supports schools, organizations, and programs for underserved fathers and youth in South Los Angeles. We are requesting your support to raise awareness, raise funds to support ongoing father support sessions for the 2017/18 L.A. Million Father March.
Our program partners with health and wellness providers, educators, financial planners, businesses, and community organizations to name a few. Together, we strive to provide resources and support to the underserved communities; with an emphasis on fathers. The result is that Fathers march away with a renewed sense of purpose to: increase their attentiveness to their child’s educational outcomes, refrain from violent activities, and address their mental, emotional, and physical health.
This Year we our focus is on Father/Father Figures and Daughters.

Mission Statement
The Holistic Offering & Opportunity People (HOOP) - Mentoring Program seeks to be at the forefront of youth development, working with young people from disadvantaged economic, social and family circumstances. "The mission of H.O.O.P. is to empower urban communities by engaging people in holistic training environments that promote lifetime positive results."
Description
Our measurements of our youth achieving these individual objectives are: Promote Physical and Healthy Lifestyle Skills: Improve Academic Skills: Develop Social Skills and Cultural Awareness: And enhance Spiritual Skills: We will measure our youth based on their willingness to participate in our community outreach events. HOOP’s goal is for youth to recognize the importance of service before self. Instill Integrity and Truth: HOOP will assist our youth in developing their personal goals plan. We will review the plan with the youth and their parents.
