We are actively seeking compassionate, caring, and dedicated volunteers to be a part of our Tuck-In Call program. No medical background is required; however a nursing or medical background is a bonus. Covid-19 social distancing/guidelines in place.
Tuck in call volunteers assist hospice staff by making phone calls to "tuck in" our patients for the weekend by checking in on them to make sure they have all their needs met and feel comfortable, especially as the weekend approaches. Some patients simply enjoy a quick phone call to visit with a friendly voice, other times you will assist us in passing on valuable information to the rest of our hospice team! The calls are made from our office in West Allis every Thursday morning. As long as you have a good heart and enjoy talking on the phone, we will train you on the rest!
