Volunteer at Food Bank of the Rockies with Project Helping

Cause Areas

It's flexible! We'll work with your schedule.

10700 E 45th AaveDenver, CO 80239

Not everyone is fortunate enough to know where their next meal will come from. Fortunately, there are amazing places like the Food Bank of the Rockies to tackle the issue of hunger. And of course, there are amazing people like you who are willing to volunteer to help make that possible.

Join Project Helping at the Food Bank of the Rockies to prepare food to go to families in need all over Colorado. We will prepare enough food in just 3 hours to provide over 6000 meals!

For this volunteer opportunity, we will be doing a variety of tasks. We will be filling orders for agencies that get the food directly where it is needed in the community. We will also be sorting food and boxing it up to prepare to ship. Each of these tasks are vital to providing food to those in need in our community. Each of these tasks will require lifting boxes that may weigh as much as 25 pounds.

Project Helping volunteers with Food Bank of the Rockies on the third Saturday of the month. See all available dates and register here: https://projecthelping.org/volunteer
