Looking for a volunteer opportunity that is fun and rewarding? Join our Volunteer team! As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping homebound seniors maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service.
Site Co-Coordinator: Help make a difference for seniors in your community by co-coordinating our small Issaquah Meals on Wheels site! In this role you’d be making friendly phone calls to collect orders for about 15 clients, assist inpacking meal orders for deliveries, help coordinate a dedicated volunteer team, and assist with various office tasks. This is a co-coordinating role, working in collaboration with our other wonderful volunteer site coordinator. This position is on Wednesday mornings, 8:30AM- 11:30AM. Training for this position is provided. We are looking for someone that is available longer term.

Sound Generations, established in 1967, is Washington State's most comprehensive non-profit organization that supports people on their aging journey through community connections and accessible services. Established in 1967, we support almost 54,000 older adults, disabled persons, and those who care for them annually in King County.
Description
Our eleven programs operating throughout numerous community and senior center sites are constantly striving to expand the provision of food security, transportation, health & wellness, and assistance services to under served and marginalized populations. We are committed to helping all people, especially those in low-income communities and communities of color, obtain the services they need while feeling included and respected in a community that affirms aging.
