2017 has approached and Chosen Abilities Resource Center, Inc. is seeking a passionate and experienced CPA to join our exciting and fun family. Individual should be qualified in Non Profit Accounting Procedures as well as corporate procedures. He/she will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports. Audit financial reports for compliance and review to ensure there are no discrepancies. Will primarily maintain and audit Organization financial records, oversee budget and financial management. Seeking an individual with knowledge of In-kind donations, matching funds, and volunteer hours. Participate in strategic planning, fraud prevention and budget development. Primarily this individual will be responsible for providing audited financials as requested when applying for grants and other financial resources.
Recommend budget adjustments and create/maintain annual budget. Will provide audited financial report for grant proposals. Prepare cash flow forecasts. Prepare monthly analysis of budget to actual and forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or related field
- CPA Certification
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Experience with Non-Profit and IRS filings
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Dynamic detail oriented personality with a strong sense of urgency around details and deadlines.
- Able to prioritize workload and exhibit sound judgment in sensitive situations and/or materials.
- Creative thinker with a proven ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems efficiently while maintaining confidentiality

Chosen Abilities Resource Center, Inc. was formed August 2007 with the impulse of addressing an acute awareness of the many troubles and challenges facing underprivileged and disadvantaged youth and adult population.
Chosen Abilities Resource Center, Inc.'s goal is to provide families and children with the necessary resources and services needed to gain self-sufficient living in a community of dignity, integrity, and respect. The creation of the Organization is to serve youth and adults who are facing difficulties and hardships. We believe all people should have the opportunity to reshape their lives and engage in programs that will enhance their abilities to become successful in their communities. We believe the community will find value in the services that will be provided and the ongoing efforts to contribute to the needs of families. Chosen Abilities Resource Center, Inc. will offer a broad range of services that aim to allow children in our community to take advantage of the educational and learning opportunities created by professional staff and volunteers.
Chosen Abilities Resource Center, Inc. is organized to provide economically disadvantaged youth, adults, and elders with an opportunity to receive leadership training, self-sufficiency programs, computer training, and needed social services to help acquire marketable skills toward personal achievement.
