Volunteer with Adelante - Spanish speaking opportunity!

The Arc Minnesota

Adelante! is a networking opportunity for Spanish speaking families who have a loved one with an intellectual and developmental disability. You do not need to speak Spanish in order to participate and you volunteer. Volunteers help with registration, set up and clean up, and with child care.

  • Adelante! Minneapolis meets the 2nd Thu. of the month from 6:30-8:30pm

  • Adelante! St. Paul meets the 4th Wed. of the month from 6:30-8:30pm

The Arc promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, actively supporting them and their families in a lifetime of full inclusion and participation in their communities.


The Arc Minnesota changes attitutdes, changes policies, and changes lives. The Arc Minnesota does this by providing individuals and families information and assistance around disability rights, laws and services. The Arc also provides workshops, support groups, counseling, individual and systems advocacy from birth throughout the lifespan.
