Project for Pride in Living (PPL)

Do you have a passion for working with young people? Support youth to thrive by becoming a Tutor-Mentor with PPL Scholars, PPL’s after-school youth program!

Volunteer Tutor-Mentors are matched 1:1 with youth in grades K-5 th to build a strong relationship, tutor in literacy concepts, and engage in enrichment activities (arts & crafts, games, creative play, etc.). Training provided.

Project for Pride in Living (PPL) is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering low-income families to become self-reliant through integrated services.
PPL Scholars takes place at the New Foundations apartment building, one of PPL’s supportive housing sites serving families transitioning from chronic homelessness.
