Veggie Transportation Volunteer- Thursday evenings

Fresh veggies

Our food pantry needs a volunteer interested to pick up veggies on Farmington Ave. in W. Hartford on Thursday evenings and transport them in your car to Jewish Family Services in West Hartford. Duties include:

* Pickup vegetables

* Transport to JFS, West Hartford

* Unload vehicle and stock the refrigerator with veggies

This individual must be responsible to commit to a volunteer position and available Thursdays during the growing season (June - October) If you are available every other week, we encourage you to apply.

1. Drivers license and own car necessary. 2. Able to lift bags of vegetables that may be heavy.

Skills necessary: reliable and conscientious. If you are interested in hunger related activities that is a plus.
