Help a Local Mom Improve Her Job Prospects!
By sharing your resume writing talents with Fairfax County area neighbors in need, you can help them obtain a better job and move toward financial self-sufficiency!

Britepaths is seeking volunteers who are experienced with the Federal and/or non-federal resume writing and would be willing to work with our clients to provide edits, reviews, and feedback for their resumes, as well as with cover letter writing assistance. Volunteers should have strong writing skills and attention to detail and be knowledgeable about resume formatting and styling, use of keywords, bullets, and language so that clients' strengths will be highlighted. Clients receiving either support are enrolled in a Workforce Development Program and are committed to working with our staff and volunteers to improve their career outlook through gaining resume skills and improving their employment prospects. We welcome volunteers in all professional fields within the Northern Virginia/DMV area.Volunteers' time is flexible, and help may be given via phone calls and/or Zoom meetings. This would be a flexible, ongoing, as-needed volunteer position with Britepaths.
