About

The Long Term Care Ombudsman Program has regional volunteers. These volunteers visit residents that live in nursing homes, assisted living homes, and residential care homes licensed by the State of Missouri. Volunteers go through 18 hours of training about the history of the program and the rights of residents both Federally and State mandated rules, guidelines and laws. The Missouri Long Term Care Ombudsman Program needs volunteers to advocate for the residents in these homes, to make sure that their rights are being met and that they have a voice. Please join the Missouri Long Term Care Ombudsman Program and give a resident a voice. One day this could be you or a loved that needs someone to advocate for you or your loved one.
