Dinosaur Ridge is a popular destination for visitors from around the world! Help greet, orient and educate dinosaur enthusiasts of all ages at our Main Visitor Center and exhibit hall. Docents serve in our exhibit hall while ambassadors help welcome and orient visitors outdoors and answering general questions about Dinosaur Ridge.
4-hour shifts are available every day of the week and weekends. Volunteer one or more shifts a week on a regular schedule or as you are available. Training is provided with experienced docents to learn about the role, outdoor fossil sites and exhibits.
Volunteers must complete a background check, review and sign our Volunteer Handbook and complete an online DEI training to serve in these roles.
