Dinosaur Ridge is a popular destination for visitors from around the world! Help greet and orient dinosaur enthusiasts of all ages at our Main Visitor Center and exhibit hall. Volunteers may sit or stand inside behind a plexiglass shield or under a shaded awning at a safe distance outside the exhibit hall building while welcoming and tallying visitors, explaining social distancing and capacity rules, and answering general questions about Dinosaur Ridge.
4-hour shifts are available every day of the week and weekends. Volunteer one or more shifts a week on a regular schedule or as you are available. Shadow an experienced volunteer to learn about the role, outdoor fossil sites and exhibits.
Please note: Dinosaur Ridge currently has strict COVID-19 safety measures in place for both visitor and volunteer safety. All visitors and guests are required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
Volunteers must complete a background check, a COVID-19 Safety Acknowledgement and wear a mask (cloth dinosaur-print mask provided!).

The mission of Dinosaur Ridge is to preserve the paleontologic, geologic, and historic resources on Dinosaur Ridge, Triceratops Trail, and outlier sites in the Golden-Morrison Fossil Area National Natural Landmark and to educate the public about these resources.
Dinosaur Ridge is a non-profit outdoor museum with over 300 dinosaur footprints and dozens of dinosaur bones still in place from the Mesozoic, the Age of the Dinosaurs. Dinosaur Ridge programs are run by volunteers like you! Whether you are looking for a long term opportunity or short term, Dinosaur Ridge has volunteer opportunities for everyone!
