Your Loving Orange County Home!Huntington Beach, CA 92648

The rescue work we do is directly linked to how many foster homes that we have. Right now we are desperately seeking foster homes for several very SHY AND TIMID but SWEET adult cats. We also have several SENIOR cats over the age of 9 years old who need fostering. This consists of caring for and socializing these rescued cats in your home until they find their forever home.

Please consider BAGHEERA, a very people and cat friendly FIV positive boy who was saved from euthanasia at the last minute at Downey Animal Shelter; or MELISSA, a quiet nine-year-old organge tabby stray who was also rescued from Downey and needs monitoring for kidney disease; JOHNNY CARSON, a loving FIV positive boy who was adopted out three years ago and then dumped by his adopters at a high-kill shelter; PORTIA, an adorable tuxie cat who lost all but one kitten from her litter of five due to her being so sick and malnourished; MISSIE, a beautiful Maine Coon senior kitty whose owner died and has been sad ever since; FENWAY AND FARINA, 13-year old siblings whose human died and are still sad and confused; and BUSTER, a senior of an unknown age who was abandoned by his humans and left to be the neighborhood cat of an apartment complex! We would also love to help a gentleman who has been boarding his three adult senior cats so that we can rehome them.

If you can help us help them, please email us at ocsp.adoptions@gmail.com and put the name of the cat you want to help in the subject line. Bagheera, Johnny Carson, Fenway and Farina, and Sterling and Autumn would do just fine a home with other cats. Lauren and Melissa need quiet homes (no small children, no alpha kitties) and Portia would do well in a home with another younger cat who is not super rambunctious so that she can have a new little one to love!

We will guide you through the basics if you have never fostered before and even if you have we will always be available to answer questions and assist in the transition to the foster home. All vetting is covered by the group and we give you a starter kit of food and litter. You provide the safe, loving environment!

Often, people want to help us by fostering kittens, which we always need. But some of our adults are not getting adopted because they are languishing in stores when they could use some time in a home getting love and attention. Please consider helping an older kitty find his or her furr-ever home!
