What a difference you can make by sharing strategic tips for seniors to recognize scams - helping to prevent Identity Theft, healthcare fraud, scams and other crimes that target older adults.

Please join us in this important mission - Empowering seniors to prevent fraud! We provide FREE training to equip you to better understand Medicare, while helping you and others avoid healthcare fraud.

Miamisburg needs Ohio SMP volunteers! Calls about "free" prizes and "special offers" can be a sneaky way to get your confidential information. These calls often target older adults.

Ohio Senior Medicare Patrol volunteers provide information or give presentations in their own communities. Ohio SMP provides full training. Training is available online or in-person.

Pro Seniors helps older adults maintain their independence by empowering them, protecting their interests, and helping them access resources.

Description

Pro Seniors' provides legal advice to all Ohio residents age 60 or over who call our legal helpline, and free assistance to people in southwestern Ohio who need to choose and understand nursing homes and related long-term care. Pro Seniors also helps people resolve problems with long-term care providers, understand Medicare and other benefit programs, avoid Medicare fraud, and offers community education and regularly scheduled continuing education for professionals working with older adults.
