Pro Seniors helps older adults maintain their independence by empowering them, protecting their interests, and helping them access resources.
Description
Pro Seniors' provides legal advice to all Ohio residents age 60 or over who call our legal helpline, and free assistance to people in southwestern Ohio who need to choose and understand nursing homes and related long-term care. Pro Seniors also helps people resolve problems with long-term care providers, understand Medicare and other benefit programs, avoid Medicare fraud, and offers community education and regularly scheduled continuing education for professionals working with older adults.

I believe everyone from 1-100 needs a person to look out for their best interest. If volunteering for 1 hour a week is all a person can do to put a smile on an elderly persons face then that is all it takes. Volunteering not only gives help to others, but it is also a way for a person to gain helpful knowledge.
