ORGANIZATION: Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County

Assist ESL Instructor by leding conversation classes for beginning an dintermediate adult learners, or work 1:1 with beginning literacy students.


Classes meet Monday and Wednesday, 9:00Am - 12 noon Santee Community Center, 1399 Santee Drive, San Jose CA

Classes meet Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00am - 12 noon at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 2020 East San Antonio, San Jose

Key reponsibilities:

Facilitate conversation groups for adult English language learners; Help students learn basic computer skills.

Skills and abilities:

Strong interpersonal , verbal and written communication skills. Good listener.

Requirements and Training:

Live scan/finger pringer print/background clearance; Maintain bi-yearly TB skin test record; Complete the volunteer training. Minimum age - 18.

Minimum 6 month commit.
