Volunteers for the San Diego Jazz Fest to work 2 to 4 hour shifts as venue monitors or in a variety of desk jobs, and receive a one-day badge for each day worked. You my volunteer for 1-5 days. Badges are good for the entire day on the day worked; come early, stay late, and enjoy top notch bands from all over the country!
Assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis. All venues are on the grounds of the Town & Country Resort and Convention Center. Wednesday Evening, Thursday Evening, All day Friday and Saturday or Sunday all day until 6.

We are a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization composed of some 1,000 members dedicated to the preservation and perpetuation of our country's only original art form - Traditional Jazz. Since 1979, America's Finest City Jazz Society (AFCDJS) has promoted Traditional Jazz, Ragtime and Swing throughout the San Diego area and the world.
Description
At the heart of our organization is the exciting annual 5-day Traditional Jazz Festival held Thanksgiving weekend. For over 30 years, visitors from around the world have visited San Diego to experience Traditional Jazz at the Town & Country Resort Hotel. Join us for 5 days of entertainment and fun with incredible musicians!
In addition, AFCDJS offers excellent monthly concerts, publishes the well-recognized Jazz Rambler, and sponsors exceptional education opportunities for young and old.
