Childcare volunteers needed!
Warm, responsible individuals are needed to facilitate positive play and supervise young children (18 months- 4 years) while their parents are participating in activities and discussion in a neighboring classroom. Come engage with a diverse group of families by leading crafts and games, offering homework help, and building positive relationships with kids.
Preferred:- bilingual (Spanish & English)
- experience caring for children or pursuing a degree in childcare/teaching
- 18 years or older
- pass a criminal background check

Literacy Coalition trains and places Texas Family Literacy AmeriCorps and VISTA AmeriCorps members in organizations across Texas communities.

Literacy Coalition develops cutting edge trainings and resources to share with literacy organizations to amplify their work and impact.
- Creating Partnerships
Literacy Coalition works with 66 literacy, workforce, and social service partners to boost community impact.
