Britepaths' Holiday Program helps needy families throughout the Fairfax County area by matching them with sponsors in the community who will provide Thanksgiving and December holiday meals and gifts for children in December.
Volunteers will be needed from October through December to help us contact families seeking assistance to verify their contact information and notify them that they need to collect gift cards. Other office needs will include sending and responding to relevant emails, assisting with Holiday database maintenance, gift card distribution and help with Holiday mailings. Must be comfortable using a computer and speaking to clients on the phone. We have a great need for bilingual Spanish-speaking volunteers. We also greatly welcome English-speaking volunteers.
Primary office hours are between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, e-mail Joanne Walton at jwalton@britepaths.org.

In 2024, Britepaths is celebrating our 40th anniversary. Since 1984, we have provided help and hope to Northern Virginia residents facing economic crisis through programs to stabilize families, foster personal empowerment, and support the needs of children. Our life-changing programs equip individuals and families with the resources and skills they need to withstand a financial emergency and begin a journey toward lasting independence and thriving.
