PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Using carefully assessed curriculum tools, one hour presentations provide emergency preparedness education to youth in grades 3-5 in school and after-school settings. In a highly interactive format, the program addresses home fire safety, local hazards, coping skills and making a personal emergency kit in a pillowcase that is supplied by the program. Presenters complete an online training session and either a workshop or a series of teachbacks with qualified presenters.
