PLACEMENT PURPOSE
To provide a timely response to disaster incidents in the county and to ensure the health services needs of those affected are met.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Two on-call shifts per month during which the individual is accessible by phone and willing to respond immediately to local disasters if called.⦆ On-call shifts are for a 12 hour period.
⦆
Limited Responders for Health Services are only called to the scene if there are health needs created by the disaster.⦆ Often, Limited Responders for Health Services can work with clients via phone and do not need to go directly to the scene of the disaster.
