Discover, play, and volunteer in Northern Colorado. Join our dynamic team of volunteer campground hosts at Larimer County Parks and Open Spaces. Enjoy the opportunities that abound nearby such as: wildlife watching, hiking, fishing, scenic drives, biking, boating, paddleboarding, breweries, great restaurants, and more! There is something for everyone in Larimer County, Colorado and each of our campgrounds offers a unique Rocky Mountain experience.
- Horsetooth Reservoir (Fort Collins, CO) - Six and one-half miles of water beckon visitors to come out and play! Where the foothills meet the plains; breathtaking scenery meets the hustle & bustle of outdoor recreation.
- Carter Lake Area (Loveland, CO) - Three reservoirs, three diverse landscapes, three different recreation experiences; all within a 20-minute drive from the sweetheart town of Loveland.
- Hermit Park Open Space (Estes Park, CO) - Enjoy quiet solitude nestled in the ponderosa pine forest at 8,000 ft. Iconic Rocky Mountain views and an abundance of wildlife provide an escape from it all.
20 - 30 volunteer hours a week is all we ask. Your RV site has full hookups. (Volunteer must provide their own RV.)
We seek friendly volunteers who genuinely like people, are team players, work hard, and are passionate about public lands. We need your help during our busy season, May - September/October, to provide excellent customer service, assist with our reservation process, maintain cleanliness of grounds, and turn over cabins. Schedules and duties vary based on location.
