The RSVP program seeks volunteers 55 to train to deliver the Bone Builders exercise program to seniors in the community. Bone Builders aims to reduce or prevent osteoporosis by relying upon weight training. Volunteers lead one hour, twice weekly classes. Training, ongoing support, mileage reimbursement, and other benefits are available to volunteer leaders.
If you are enthusiastic about health and fitness, love working with seniors, and excel at having a leadership role in a group, this oportunity might be right for you!
Classes are free to participants and are offered in various locations around the Twin Cities Metropolitan area. Leaders now needed in New Hope, NE Minneapolis, Downtown Minneapolis, South St. Paul, St. Paul, and Chanhassen!

RSVP offers maximum flexibility for people 55 and over who want to find challenging, rewarding, and significant service opportunities in their communities. RSVP Volunteers work with local organizations to have impact on critical needs in several focus areas: literacy, housing, food security, independence and well-being for seniors and persons with disabilities, economic opportunity, and service to veterans and military personnel and their families. We give volunteers the flexibility to decide who and how frequently they serve and we support volunteers with placement assistance, free supplemental insurance, and other benefits.
