Family & Children’s Agency is seeking a volunteer to offer clerical assistance for our Adoption program in Norwalk, helping with research for clients in our Adoption Assistance Program. Once a week for a few hours Monday-Friday.

Last year more than 13,000 individuals of all ages and all walks of life experienced life-altering, positive changes as a result of their work with Family & Children’s Agency.

Program Information
The Adoption program at Family & Children’s Agency is one of the largest private adoption agencies in Connecticut, with offices in Norwalk and Branford, CT, and Harrison, NY. We offer both domestic and international adoption services.

Requirements
To become a volunteer with Family & Children’s Agency, volunteers must complete an application and necessary background checks.

Volunteers must also complete an agency orientation with Volunteer Services and a program orientation with their supervisor.

Skills Needed:

• Desire to work in an administrative capacity
• General knowledge of office setting including computer knowledge.
• Dependability and consistency
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Clean background check
