Norfolk County RSVP Volunteer Program is part of the national Senior Corps, sponsored locally by the Norfolk County Commissioners.

Norfolk County RSVP Rides for Veterans

Drive local Veterans to and from medical appointments and other necessary trips, using your own vehicle with supplemental liability insurance from RSVP, and $0.30/mile reimbursement.

Trips may be local or to a VA Hospital including Jamaica Plain, West Roxbury, or Brockton. Drivers are called as needed and can opt in or out for any given trip request. Riders must be ambulatory or bring a caregiver to assist them in getting in and out.

Requires MA driver’s license, reliable car and background check. We are looking for drivers for vet rides originating in all 28 towns and cities in Norfolk County, MA.

Norfolk County RSVP is a community service program for volunteers who are 55 and over. We work with over fifty municipal, non-profit and healthcare organizations to recruit and match volunteers with programs that meet community needs.

Significant mileage reimbursement is available.
