We are looking for motivated volunteers to work with children and youth from 0 to 25 years old for our 5 support groups. We provide support groups for youth exposed to domestic violence. We ask for 3 hours every Wednesday night from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and a couple of hours for volunteer training. Currently, we are working in a hybrid schedule so you can choose to do both or one or the other. A commitment of 6 months is necessary to guarantee consistency with the youth/children we work with.
Spanish language is not required but bilingual volunteers are a plus. Students or professionals with backgrounds in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology are also plus but not required. A criminal background check is required.
