Position: Engaging, exciting, and inspiring volunteers is essential to caring for our environment. Create new ways to draw and keep volunteers. Look for different approaches to engage people in environmental concerns and get them to take action. Definitely a "people person" job.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting with volunteer program to foster and maintain volunteer participation at a level to support programs and activities.
2. Presenting to local community organizations in order to obtain new volunteers.
3. Inputting, updating, and maintaining volunteer database.
4. Monitoring, updating, and maintaining all volunteer recruitment sites.
5. Coordinating volunteer trainers as required for program management.
6. Confirming volunteers prior to each event and following up with volunteers after event for feedback.
All KPWB interns will receive membership into the Prince William County Chamber of Commerce while working with KPWB, allowing for additional training and networking opportunities. Mileage from services beyond driving to and from work is available.

Keep Prince William Beautiful is a 501(c)(3) environmental organization that serves Prince William County through partnering with residents, businesses, community organizations and the government to educate and inspire environmental stewards who, through locally informed action, actively work to reduce litter waste, increase recycling, and broaden environmental education throughout the County.

We offer multiple programs that offer a variety of volunteer opportunities involving litter removal and prevention, recycling practices, community beautification, and environmental education.
