Engaging, exciting, and inspiring volunteers is essential to caring for our environment. Create new ways to draw and keep volunteers. Look for different approaches to engage people in environmental concerns and get them to take action. Definitely a "people person" job. Responsibilities will include: Assisting with volunteer program to foster and maintain volunteer participation at a level to support programs and activities Presenting to local community organizations in order to obtain new volunteers Inputting, updating, and maintaining volunteer database Monitoring, updating, and maintaining all volunteer recruitment sites Coordinating volunteer trainers as required for program management Confirming volunteers prior to each event and following up with volunteers after event for feedback All KPWB volunteers will receive membership into the Prince William County Chamber of Commerce while working with KPWB, allowing for additional training and networking opportunities. Mileage from services beyond driving to and from work is available. Please email a resume and cover letter to the below address. Volunteer positions are a minimum of three months.
