During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Become a conservation volunteer across almost 20 different locations in Australia and New Zealand.
We are looking for volunteers to help protect, preserve and restore Australian and New Zealand environments. You can join for 2 to 12 weeks in duration, and we have places throughout the year available. We have 16 locations in Australia and 3 in New Zealand.
Working in teams of up to 10, volunteers are involved with a range of conservation activities. These can involve:
* Walking trail construction
* Wildlife surveys
* Seed collection
* Weed control
* Conservation fencing
* Heritage restoration
This is a great opportunity for those who love the outdoors and have an interest in the environment to take part on practical conservation projects. As a volunteer you will get to see many places tourists don't normally see. You will also learn about conservation issues across Australia & New Zealand, as well as gaining practical skills, a team based experience and references.
