Norfolk County RSVP Volunteer Program is part of the national Senior Corps, sponsored locally by the Norfolk County Commissioners.

Tri-Valley Elder Services Meals on Wheels program serves nutritious meals to homebound elders Monday-Friday. Current volunteer opportunities include:

KITCHEN VOLUNTEERS - FRANKLIN Volunteers are needed for weekdays from 9am-11am to prepare meals for delivery to homebound neighbors in Bellingham, Franklin, and Medway. The kitchen at The Grace Baptist Church supports delivery routes in all three towns. Flexible needs from one day a week to just a few times a month. Substitute help for regular volunteers is always needed, but so is regularly scheduled help.

MEALS ON WHEELS DRIVERS - FRANKLIN, BELLINGHAM, MEDWAY Volunteer Drivers are needed, 10:30-12:30 on various routes, to transport prepared meals from the Grace Baptist Church in Franklin to homebound neighbors in Franklin, Bellingham and/or Medway. A valid MA driver's license, CORI check and reliable vehicle are required. Meals on Wheels route mileage reimbursement is available from Tri-Valley elder services.

Norfolk County RSVP has volunteer opportunities for people aged 55 & over in 28 cities and towns at over 50 volunteer sites. Volunteer opportunities include American Red Cross sites, mentoring pre-release inmates, tutoring elementary school children, drivers for Veterans, meals on wheels, friendly visiting, non-profit support services and many more! N.C. RSVP will find the volunteer opportunity that best fits your interests & schedule and impacts the needs that are most critical to our county's communities. N.C. RSVP and its stations provide mileage reimbursement, accident & liability insurance, an invitation to our annual recognition event, monthly newsletters, orientation & training.
