Join the Dogs on Deployment team and help promote our mission assisting military and veteran families nationwide with help with their pets' care through fostering, advocacy and financial assistance. Dogs on Deployment is currently looking for a MARKETING ASSOCIATE!

Dogs on Deployment is looking for a part-time volunteer to help us promote our image, mission and brand with advertisers, through print and video media, and social media presence. Currently, Dogs on Deployment is supported by a small, core group of volunteers. Volunteering for Dogs on Deployment will not only help our organization tremendously, but invites our new volunteer to develop your own skills and resume.

What we're looking for:

• A highly, self-motivated volunteer who understands and is familiar with Dogs on Deployment's mission!

• Ability to communicate clearly with an outgoing personality!

• Someone who can use their creativity to help promote Dogs on Deployment on a national level.

• Marketing and branding experience required.

• Proven experience with successful marketing campaigns across print and media platforms.

• Google Analysis, Google Ad-Sense, Bing Ads, SEO, Facebook Insights and Ad experience preferred.

• Minimum 6 months volunteer position.

What the job will entail:

• Looking to gain donated ad-space in publications, media sources and tv

• Works with graphics artists to create engaging, effective and thoughtful advertisements

• Uses cost-benefit analysis to determine advertising strategies for Dogs on Deployment

• (If experience with AdWords) Manages Google Ad-Sense campaigns within Google Grants free budget to maximize DoD exposure

• Tracks SEO analysis of Dogs on Deployment links to ensure best visibility on the web

• Propose campaign ideas, and prepare metrics, goals and follow through actions to ensure campaigns are active and successful across social media and online outlets
• Work with external companies and sponsors on joint campaigns

• Volunteer hours will be self-managed, with no minimum hours. Possibly up to 10 hours/week.
