Become a conservation volunteer on the beautiful island of St. Eustatius overlooking St. Kitts in the Caribbean Sea.
Joining between 4 and 12 weeks, there is the opportunity for volunteers to get involved with activities such as:
- Trail Building
- Maintaining the Botanical Garden
- Helping with Night Turtle Patrols
- Environmental Education
Two to three days a week will be spend on these projects. In your spare time there is the opportunity to get SCUBA qualified (at your own cost) and spend time diving some of the marine parks sites.
Volunteers work five days a week, typically starting at 7am and finishing at noon. On two to three afternoons a week you may be asked to help out with other projects. The rest of the afternoons are free time and can be spent diving, snorkelling, bird watching and enjoying the peace of Statia.
